launched to highlight the plight of Iranian workers and to raise
solidarity with their struggles against the oppressive Islamic
regime. Its initial sponsors are Jeremy Dear (General Secretary
of the National Union of Journalists) in Britain, and Ahmed
Manzoor, the President of the Pakistan Trade Union Defence Campaign
and a member of Parliament in Pakistan.
