Another Vahed bus drivers' leader arrested in Tehran

Gholamreza Gholamhosseini, a member of the Executive Committee of the Tehran Vahed Bus Company's Trade Union, was arrested by police outside Shirodi Stadium (in Tehran) on 25 June.

Security agents prevented Gholamhosseini from entering the stadium when he went there for an event marking Iranian Women's Day. The gathering was sponsored by Tehran's city council and by the Vahed Bus Company.

Mansour Osanloo, the leader of the Tehran Vahed Bus Company's Trade Union, has been held in Evin prison since November 2006 and was recently admitted to hospital for eye surgery and a heart condition.
