Picket in Sweden in solidarity with the Iranian working class

On 23 March a group of socialists and trade unionists went to the Iranian emabassy, in the outskirts of Stockholm, Sweden. They went there to demand a stop to the oppression of the workers and demand the release of the imprisoned trade union activist in Iran as part of the worldwide campaign activities of the Iranian Workers' Solidarity Network.

At the embassy they were received by an official. They explained who they were and put forward their demands on behalf of Iranian workers. They handed over a protest letter and the embassy official assured the activists that their message would be passed on to the Iranian goverment.
