Striking Alborz Lastic tyre workers set alight part of the factory

The strike and protests of the workers of Alborz Lastic (Kian Tyre) entered their 13th day on 22 July. 

The Alborz Lastic tyre workers are demanding three months' backpay. In a part of the factory they set tyres on fire and gathered to protest and demand their unpaid wages. The 1200 striking workers have said that if their demands are ignored then they are prepared to take other measures to get their wages and rights.
